A Total War Saga Thrones of Britannia used the Total War: Attila engine, which itself wasn't the newest Total War engine of that time. This is not a bad thing and is something that's common amongst Total War Saga titles. When we started playing A Total War Saga: Troy, we noted that the game lacked TAA as a graphical option, a feature which was added to the franchise with Total War: Three Kingdoms, a fact which has lead us to believe that A Total War Saga: Troy does not utilise the latest version of Creative Assembly's Warscape Engine.įeature-wise, A Total War Saga: Troy appears to be an offshoot of Creative Assembly's Total War: Warhammer engine build, featuring many of the same mechanics and graphical traits as the Total War Warhammer series. *Additional Notes: 6GB Memory if using integrated GPU
